I am new to Ubuntu, CHIRP, and last fall got ticket to tech and general 
at first sitting.  I have the Wouxun that is listed as supported.  I am 
not sure how to run CHIRP.  When I found the file that appears to open 
it all I get is a blank screen.  I must be doing something wrong or 
missing a few steps. When Vista corrupted laptop I learned Ubuntu and 
recently upgraded it to Precise.

Where should I begin?
