To be clearer:
What drivers does any USB device or Serial device need? Have you installed
them?
I had to search around for an old USB device - it was a RS232 to USB
adapter - I found it in about 20 minutes - it was a Belkin but Belkin
bought the device from someone else who had the drivers.
