[chirp_users] MARS Mod VX-5 Clone Error

Pre-mod I was able to read and write to my VX-5 via CHIRP. Post mod,
the radio functions perfectly, but CHIRP no longer plays nice. Read
from radio works, but trying to upload to radio fails halfway through
with "Clone Error" message on the VX-5 Display and all memories on the
HT deleted.

Mod performed was to de-solder a jumper on the VX-5 board. Again,
radio operates perfectly, but won't talk to CHIRP any longer

Suggestions?
