[chirp_users] Chirp 0.1.12 - difficulty with IC-V82

Hi all,
I haven't played for a bit, so I tried 0.1.12 on my ICOM and it's not
syncing with the radio :-(

I believe the cable/serial port is good as I can use tk500 on my scanner.
I am starting chirpw without entering clone mode on the radio.

Any suggestions? Is there a way to disable auto-detection?
