 OK I just tried the latest build (daily-05092011) and got an error message
 telling me to check a log file. The log file said the following:

 Traceback (most recent call last):
   File "chirpw", line 27, in <module>
   File "chirpui\mainapp.pyo", line 35, in <module>
   File "chirp\directory.pyo", line 21, in <module>
   File "chirp\vx6.pyo", line 18, in <module>
 ImportError: cannot import name vx6_ll
 Traceback (most recent call last):

 I am going to check the next older one now. (daily-05072011)
 That one opens and doesn't give me an error.
 It also works for saving files, opening files, reading the radio,
 exporting and importing and writing to the radio with the proper masking
 happening.
