 See attachments for the difference between the Export Type List on my Win7
 & WinXP machines.  It looks like a Win7 difference to track down.  Is it a
 difference in the way that gui_save_file() [in platform.py] under Win32
 and Wix7 vs. WinXP; or even between the two different means used to
 construct the extension list in the several gui_save_file() definitions in
 platform.py?
