 OK, after poking around the manuals it appears this might be a
 nomenclature issue between iCOM/Yaesu.  Yaesu uses the term WFM and iCOM
 just calls it FM, but they both refer to the typical wide deviation FM
 mode that amateurs use. I could not find a similar convention in my
 Yaesu-8900 manual, but I suspect it might persist in the VX-6 and VX-8, at
 least.
