I think that (through csv) is the better way to work the data.
In answer to Dan's question, I lost channels 1,3,4,5. Not able to replicate.

Nope, never seen the problem. I will qualify this though by saying 99% of
the time I export the files to CSV, manipulate / sort with a text editor (or
Excel) and then import back into the radio.
