I took a look at this a while ago. From memory, even though it appears t
loop through a list (in the wrong order) there's actually a hard coded
value in there somewhere. That bit of code needs a re-write.

I got my th-d74 operating at much faster speeds after sorting that out.
I will dig out the code if you want it.
