[chirp_devel] [ft-90] radio will not go into clone rx mode without port open #1187

1. Reverting would probably break FT-90 on Windows. 
2. Does this affect all people? (If so, wondering why they havent been coming out of the woodwork since Nov).
3. I have a patch for first option that I describe, just needs to be tested on several platforms. (Maybe devel team can help me there?)
4. I thought this is something we can resolve within a few days, and in the mean time, the workaround is well-known and viable (i.e., use 2013-10-27)

I'll leave it up to you.
