FYI -- There is (or was?) an issue with the VX-8 banks implementation due
to inclusion of "built-in" memories (such as Marine VHF) in banks.

The channel location stored as a result of using a built-in memory
doesn't index into the structure with the 900 user programmable memories
which triggers an exception when trying to bring up the banks tab.

It wasn't clear what the value stored was referencing.  I think
Sean Burford had a theory it might be a pointer into the ROM, instead
of the eeprom.
