Tom,
I reset the device, just changed the freq to 150M, and stored it in M1. What do you get from the difference in the files? What should I try next?

Yes, the FT-1802 img starts with "AH023". It looks like the equivalent for your FT-1900 is "VC23", so use that value for _model.
