[chirp_devel] Anytone 5888 and Variants

With the recent comments on various user groups about the differences in
the QPS software vs Chirp (and now RT Systems has their own), as well as the
problems with PL tones being read properly, are there any thoughts of looking
into this?  Maybe see how QPS and RT Systems handle the data?  Just an idea.
