I applied this to the default branch as I think changing what the user
sees goes against the idea of a fixes-only branch (other than changes
required to fix bugs).

The binary changes don't come across correctly in the patch unless you
do something different I think, so I just committed another change to do
that. And, I noticed that Jenkins tried to test before I had a chance to
do that :P
